Also known as Bait Al Shaar Stadium, One of eight stadiums that will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup matches scheduled to start on November 21, 2022. The construction of the stadium began in 2014. The stadium has a capacity of 60,000 audience and will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final.
The design of the stadium is inspired by Bait Al Shaar, a traditional tent used by nomads in Qatar and throughout the Arab region.

The Al Bayt Stadium has been given a Class (A*) rating from the Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) for its design and construction process. The Stadium was designed using the best energy-saving practices and eco-friendly building materials, which has been a key feature of Qatar’s efforts to host the most environmentally friendly World Cup.
The Supreme Committee isn’t only focused on making the venue a green building. The model has been applied to the city of Al Khor surrounding the stadium. There will be many parks, lakes, water features, and green spaces in the city, as well as protected green belt land that extends from the stadium to the sea.
